Apprentices20161207_095342 from ABP Shrewsbury recently took part in a Farm to Fork activity day to gain an understanding on how the farming and processing worlds work together.

Seven Apprentices visited Partridge Farm, Linley near Bishops Castle to get a hands on look into the farming methods used to supply quality beef cattle into ABP Shrewsbury.

Members from ABPs LiveStock management provided the apprentices an insight of the farming sector before the apprentices returned to ABP Shrewsbury to visit the lairage, abattoir and processing departments.
